Removal and starter installation

4-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the storage battery and remove the top casing of the inlet pipeline.
  1. Turn out the top bolt of a starter (3 on an illustration) and disconnect from it electroconducting (4).
  1. To Poddomkratta the car also cut a bandage tape (6) traction relays. Turn out the bottom nut (7) and remove a starter.
  2. Installation is made upside-down.

Petrol V6 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the generator (see. The section Removal and generator installation) also disconnect electroconducting from a starter (3 on an illustration).
  1. Turn out the top bolt of fastening of a starter (4).

It is more convenient to make all this through the right wheel arch by means of the key extension piece.

  1. Turn out the bottom bolt (5) and remove a starter (6).
  2. Installation is made upside-down.

Diesel engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the bottom support of the engine (see. Head Engine).
  1. Disconnect generator electroconducting (2 on an illustration) and a starter (3).
  1. Give fixture (4) starters and, having removed the engine from a stretcher by means of a wedge established between them, remove a starter.
  2. Installation is made upside-down.
