Receptions of operation and auxiliary systems

Start of the engine and start of motion

Preparation for a trip on the car

Before sitting down in the car make sure that its glasses, mirrors and light devices pure. Check a condition of wheels, glance under the car and make sure of absence of leakages of liquids.

Check levels of working liquids of the engine (the impellent oil, cooling and brake liquids), and also level of liquid of washers of glasses according to the maintenance schedule (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance of the car).

Having settled down in the car, execute the following operations:

  • Close all doors and block their locks;
  • Adjust the provision of a seat (see. Section Adjustment of seats and head restraints) and external rear-view mirrors;
  • Make sure of operability of external lighting devices;
  • Check operation of devices;
  • At inclusion of ignition check serviceability To/l, the devices located on a combination;
  • Release the parking brake and make sure that To/l brake system went out.

Requirements to a physical condition of the driver

Do not operate the drunk car since alcohol breaks purity of consciousness, sight and coordination of movements.

Do not operate the car after the drug intake, reducing attention, or raising drowsiness, and also in a disease and tired state.

Driving in the conditions specified above can lead to controllability loss by the car and road accident emergence.

Engine start

Between unsuccessful attempts of start of the engine it is necessary to wait about 30 seconds not to damage a starter.


The starter will not work, if the selector lever (models with AT) is not in the situation "P" or "N". After a long break in car use at start of the engine excessive noise which should disappear at achievement by the engine of normal working temperature can be audible.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For a start make sure that the parking brake is completely cocked, and all auxiliary systems are switched off.
  2. On models from AT Move the lever of the selector of AT modes in the situation "P" or "N" and completely squeeze out a brake pedal. On models from RKPP squeeze out a coupling pedal.
  3. On diesel models wait, will not go out yet To/l preheat.
  4. Turn the ignition key in the situation "ST" and hold it, while the engine will not be started (but no more than 30 seconds) then release the ignition key, - it should return to the situation "ON".
  5. If the engine decayed after start attempt, repeat the procedure described above once again.
  6. Before a start of motion let's to the engine work on single turns some time (from 10 seconds to several minutes, depending on ambient temperature).

Irrespective of engine temperature at its start it is not necessary to press a gas pedal.
