Removal and thermostat installation
4-cylinder petrol engines
|
|
- Open a cover of a broad tank and dump pressure in cooling system.
- To Poddomkratta the car also remove the bottom protective casing of an impellent compartment.
- Lower cooling liquid and lower the car on the earth.
- Weaken a collar of fastening of the top hose of a radiator to the case of the thermostat and remove a hose.

- Disconnect from the thermostat case a weight wire, give the top bolt of fastening of the case and completely turn out the bottom bolts of its fastening.
|
|
|
- Remove the case of the thermostat and the thermostat.
|
- Check a condition of interfaced surfaces and clear them. Slightly grease rubber consolidation by acid-free vaseline.
- At installation of the thermostat make sure that its ventilating opening is above («TOP» label on the thermostat).
- Further installation is made upside-down.

Petrol V6 engines
|
|
- Execute the actions described in paragraphs 1-3, and remove the top cover of the engine.
|
|
- Remove top, then average and bottom sections of the inlet pipeline.
|
- Remove the MAF sensor and шaланг, disconnect submitting tube of a turbokompressor and shift it in the direction to an interkuler.
- Disconnect a perepuskny tube of a turbokompressor and separate the socket on a tube of ventilation of a case.
|
|
- Take щуп level of impellent oil and disconnect a hose from the thermostat. Remove the thermostat together with its case.
|
- Check a condition of interfaced surfaces and clear them. Replace a sealing ring of the thermostat.
- Further installation is made upside-down.

Diesel V6 engines
|
|
- Remove assembly of fans of a radiator (see. Section Removal and installation of assembly of fans of a radiator).
|
|
- Remove the thermofilter of a final collector (2 on an illustration).
|
- Substitute under the car suitable capacity and disconnect a hose from the thermostat case (3 on an illustration).
- Remove the case of the thermostat and the thermostat (4 and 5 on an illustration).
- Establish the thermostat with new consolidation, having made sure that the valve of a purge is above.
- Further installation is made upside-down.
