Removal and installation of the water pump
|
- Open a cover of a broad tank and dump pressure in cooling system.
- To Poddomkratta the car also remove the bottom protective casing of an impellent compartment.

|
4-cylinder petrol engines
|
- Lower cooling liquid and lower the car on the earth.
|
- Separate the MAF sensor socket (6 on an illustration), disconnect an air hose (7) and the MAF sensor.
|
- Weaken a tension of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units and remove it from pulleys of the pump GUR and the water pump.
|
- Disconnect from an inlet pipe of a turbokompressor a tube of ventilation of a case (10 on an illustration) and uncover heads of cylinders.
|
- Separate the socket of the valve of management of pressure of forced air (11 on an illustration).
- Remove an elevating eye of the engine (12 on an illustration).
- Give fixture of hoses to the target valve of a turbokompressor (13 on an illustration) and remove a perepuskny tube together with its valve (14).
|
On a joint of a perepuskny tube with an entrance tube of a turbokompressor the sealing ring is used. |
|
- Give a nut and 2 clamps and remove the thermofilter of a final collector (15 on an illustration).
|
- Weaken quick disconnect connection of a ventilating tube (16 on an illustration), remove the submitting tube of a turbokompressor (17) submitting a tube (18) and закупорьте inlet port of a turbokompressor.
|
- Give fixture of the pump GUR and shift the pump aside (20 and 21 on an illustration).
|
- Release collars and remove hoses from inlet port of the water pump (22 on an illustration).
- Disconnect two longitudinal tubes from the block of cylinders (23 on an illustration) and from the water pump (24).
- Give a bolt of fastening of a water tube from the water pump to a turbokompressor (25 on an illustration).
- Disconnect a water tube from the water pump (26 on an illustration).

- Turn out bolts of fastening of the water pump (27 on an illustration) and accurately remove it, separating from an arm and from the connecting coupling (29).
|
- Remove from the block of cylinders the connecting coupling and check a condition of its epiploons, if necessary replace epiploons.
- Installation is made upside-down. Use a new sealing ring of connection of an arm of a perepuskny tube with submitting tube of a turbokompressor.
- After installation switch off central air of air and fill cooling system. Start the engine and let's to it work on various turns before turning on of the fan of a radiator.
- Switch off the engine and if necessary add OZh. Check cooling system on existence of leaks.

Petrol V6 engines
|
- Lower cooling liquid and lower the car on the earth.
- Unload the right support of the power unit, having slightly raised the engine.
|
- Remove the MAF sensor and a hose (7 on an illustration). Remove GUR hose from an arm (8).
|
- Remove the right support of the engine together with an arm (9 on an illustration).
- Turn out bolts of fastening of pulleys of the pump GUR and the water pump. Weaken a tension of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units, remove pulleys mentioned above pumps, a natyazhitel of a belt and a cover of a belt of a drive of GRM (see illustrations in the Section Repair of 6-cylinder petrol engines).
- Installation is made upside-down. Before installation of the pump clear interfaced surfaces. Use a new sealing ring of the pump.

Diesel V6 engines
|
- Weaken a tension of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units and remove it together with a natyazhitel (see. Undressed Repair of 6-cylinder diesel engines).
- Lower cooling liquid from a radiator.
- Turn out a forward bolt of fastening of a forward support of the power unit and a bolt of fastening directing щупа level of impellent oil.
- Lower the car on the earth and disconnect from a turbokompressor an inlet tube together with the MAF sensor.
- Remove the top cover of the engine and disconnect the top hose of a radiator.
- Separate sockets of fans of a radiator, turn out the top bolt of fastening of an elevating eye and remove from it directing щупа level of impellent oil.
- Shift aside an eye and remove a casing of fans.
- Give the central nut of fastening of a back support of the engine.

- Weaken quick disconnect connections of fuel lines and wipe the flowed-out fuel (14 on an illustration).
|
- Unload the right support of the engine and remove it together with an arm and a pillow. Raise the engine and turn out bolts of its fastening. Remove the bottom arm of the engine (15 on an illustration).
- Uncover a belt of a drive of GRM.
- Establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation VMT and remove a belt of a drive of GRM and its intermediate roller.
- Turn out a stopper over TNVD assembly, screw on its place bolt М6, give fixture of a cogwheel of TNVD and remove a cogwheel.
- Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft and intermediate pulleys. Separate the CKP sensor socket. Uncover a belt of a drive of GRM, take from it epiploons and clear interfaced surfaces of the laying remains.
- Remove a rotor of the CKP sensor and two gear wheels of a drive of TNVD.
- Establish the water pump with new laying. Make sure that two long bolts of fastening of the pump are established in the corresponding openings.
- Further installation is made in return sequence. If necessary address to Section materials Repair of 6-cylinder diesel engines.
