Removal and installation of components of system of release of OG

Forward exhaust silencer

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Give nuts (2 on an illustration) connections of forward section of an exhaust pipe with back section and remove clamps (3) from rubber support.
  1. Remove two forward support (4 on an illustration) and substitute a jack towards the end of a pipe then remove the remained rubber support (5) and remove section of an exhaust pipe with the forward exhaust silencer.
  1. Installation is made upside-down.

Back exhaust silencer

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure from a welded seam of the back exhaust silencer with an exhaust pipe of 95 mm and cut it in this place.
  1. Join the new exhaust silencer with an exhaust pipe and arrange it parallel to the car bottom.

On models with acting cut of an exhaust pipe track that it settled down on the center of the corresponding cut in a rear bumper.

  1. Fix the exhaust silencer by means of a collar and rubber support.

Forward section of an exhaust pipe of diesel models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the bottom protective casings of the engine.
  1. Turn out bolts (3 on an illustration) fastenings of forward section of an exhaust pipe to a support on transmission.
  1. Fix an exhaust pipe on a support on transmission by means of a plait.
  2. Disconnect forward section of an exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter (5 on an illustration).

Do not bend a flexible knee more than on a corner the 7th hail. concerning its axial line.

  1. Disconnect forward section of an exhaust pipe from the exhaust silencer (6 on an illustration) and remove it.
  2. Level a new exhaust pipe concerning the body bottom.
  3. Installation is made upside-down.

Catalytic converter of diesel models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the bottom protective casings of the engine. Disconnect forward section of an exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter and turn out bolts of fastening of the converter to a support on transmission (5).
  1. Lower the car on the earth and disconnect an air tube (6 on сопр. illustrations) from a turbokompressor and the MAF sensor. Remove the top cover of the engine (7).
  1. Disconnect a delivery tube of a turbokompressor (8 on an illustration) from the inlet pipeline and remove the thermofilter of a turbokompressor (9).
  2. Disconnect the catalytic converter from a turbokompressor (10 on an illustration).
  3. Installation is made upside-down.

Forward section of an exhaust pipe with catalytic converters (petrol models)

Engines of 2.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a perepuskny tube (1 on an illustration), the thermofilter (2) of a final collector and a lambda probe (3).
  1. Give two top nuts of connection of a turbokompressor with forward section of final system and remove a forward bottom protective casing of the engine.
  1. Give the bottom nut of connection of a turbokompressor with forward section of final system (7 on an illustration) then separate forward and back sections of final system (8).
  1. Remove clamps from rubber support and accurately remove support (9 and 10).
  2. Lower forward section of final system, trying not to bend a flexible knee more than on a corner the 7th hail. concerning its axial line.
  3. Installation is made upside-down. Fixture to a turbokompressor tighten evenly not to deform its flange.

Engines of 2.3 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top cover of the engine (1 on an illustration), a perepuskny tube with the valve (2) and the thermofilter (3) of a final collector. Separate the socket a lambda probe (4).
  1. Give two top nuts (5 on an illustration) connections of forward section of final system with a turbokompressor, поддомкратьте the car and give the third (bottom) nut (7).
  1. Turn out the top bolt (8 on an illustration) on a rack of fastening of the catalytic converter to the engine.
  2. Separate forward and back sections of final system (9 on an illustration) then remove clamps from rubber support and accurately remove support (10).
  3. See item 5 and 6 (Engines of 2.0 l).

Petrol V6 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the thermofilter of a forward final collector (1 on an illustration), give fixture (2) forward sections of an exhaust pipe to a turbokompressor and separate the socket a lambda probe (3).
  1. To Poddomkratta the car, cut a coupler (5 on an illustration) electroconductings a lambda probe, previously having remembered a route of its laying, and omit electroconducting.
  1. Disconnect forward section of an exhaust pipe from back section (6 on an illustration), then from a back final collector (7) and remove it.
  2. If necessary remove a lambda probe.
  3. If acted in film a lambda probe, before installation grease its carving with means of Molycote 1000.
  4. Further installation is made upside-down.

Final collector of 4-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Uncover a broad tank and dump pressure in cooling system.
  2. To Poddomkratta the car, remove a forward protective cover of the engine and lower OZh (see. Head of System of cooling of the engine, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  1. Consistently turn out bolts of 5 and 6th arm of a turbokompressor.
  1. Disconnect a returnable hose of a turbokompressor from the case pallet (7 on an illustration), weaken fixture oil turbokompressor tubes to the case of the oil filter (8) and lower the car on the earth.
  2. Remove a perepuskny tube with the valve and the thermofilter of a final collector.
  3. Remove assembly of fans of a radiator.
  4. Separate sockets of the control valve of pressure of pressurization and the MAF sensor (A power supply system of petrol engines).
  5. Lift the receiver case ventilation from a submitting tube of a turbokompressor and a cover of a head of cylinders.
  6. Remove the MAF sensor and an air hose.
  1. Weaken fixture of hoses of a turbokompressor and the diaphragm case (22 on an illustration).
  1. By means of the special adaptation weaken quick disconnect connection (23 on an illustration) a ventilating hose.
  2. Weaken a V-shaped collar of fastening of a submitting tube to a turbokompressor (24 on an illustration), turn out a bolt (25) fastenings of this tube to an arm of the pump GUR and remove it (26).
  3. Weaken a collar (27 on an illustration) a hose between turbokompressory and interkulery. To Zakuporta hose.
  4. Give nuts (28 on an illustration) and remove forward section of an exhaust pipe (29) from a turbokompressor.
  1. Remove oil (30 on an illustration) and water (31) tubes of a turbokompressor and turn out the screw (32) fastenings of a water tube to the pump. Remove a returnable water tube of a turbokompressor (33 and 34).
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a turbokompressor to a final collector (35 on an illustration).
  2. Unload a belt of a drive of auxiliary units and remove it from a pump GUR pulley. Remove a pump GUR arm from an engine support.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of an arm of the pump GUR and shift the pump aside. Shift aside a turbokompressor and remove a final collector.
  1. Process hairpins means of Molycote 1000.
  2. Installation is made upside-down. Use new laying of a final collector and consolidation of other understanding connections.

Final collectors of petrol V6 engines

The forward final collector of petrol V6 engines is incorporated with a turbokompressor, - removal and installation of this knot are described in the Section Removal and turbokompressor installation.

Back final collector

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Uncover batteries and disconnect from it electroconducting.
  1. Remove the top cover of the engine and a generator air line (2 on an illustration). Separate sockets a lambda probes (3).
  1. Give fixture (4 on an illustration) SAI tubes to a head of cylinders and lift the receiver (5) together with the SAI valve.
  1. Give 2 external nuts (6 on an illustration) on a back final collector.
  2. To Poddomkratta the car also remove forward section of an exhaust pipe.
  1. Give 2 bottom nuts (9 on an illustration) fastenings of a final collector, lower the car on the earth and give 3 top nuts (11). Remove a back final collector.
  1. Installation is made upside-down. Use new laying of a final collector and consolidation of other understanding connections.
