Removal and installation of components of SRS system

At work with SRS system it is necessary to disconnect surely electroconducting from the storage battery, and then still to wait some time that condensers were discharged. It is necessary for prevention of casual operation пиропатронов. After removal of the SRS components it is required to remove malfunction codes from memory of the control unit.

The description of removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion of the driver and spiral is a part of the description of removal and installation of a steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel). Sensors of lateral collision are located in forward doors, and their removal is given in the Section Removal, installation, dismantling and assembly of a forward door and its components.

For removal and installation of lateral safety cushions (at the corresponding complete set) it is required to remove a forward seat and an upholstery of its back.

Block of a safety cushion of the forward passenger

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the dashboard (see. Section Removal and installation of the dashboard and its components).

Give 6 nuts of fastening of the block of a safety cushion of the forward passenger.

Remove the control unit, having separated its socket.

SRS control unit

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Cнимите the central console, separate the socket and turn out 3 nuts of fastening of the SRS control unit.

Sensor of a head-on collision

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove lateral section of a decorative reshyotka of a radiator.

Give 3 nuts and separate the sensor socket.

Emergency natyazhitel of seat belts

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Shift the corresponding seat as it is possible further forward.

Remove the covering of a rack of B fixed on clamps and an air line (3).

Remove a seat belt from a forward seat, then remove directing a belt and pass it through a covering of a rack of B.

Separate the socket (6), turn out 3 screws (7) and remove an emergency natyazhitel of a seat belt.
