Check of klapanny gaps



  1. To Poddomkratta the car also remove the bottom protective casing of an impellent compartment.
  2. Lower the car on the earth and remove from a turbokompressor the inlet pipeline together with the MAF sensor.
  3. Remove the top cover of the engine.
  4. Disconnect from the inlet pipeline a delivery tube of a turbokompressor.
  1. Remove the top section of the inlet pipeline (5 on an illustration).
  1. Separate sockets of nozzles, the sensor of temperature of OZh, the sensor of pressure of forced air, the CMP sensor, the vacuum chamber of a turbokompressor and the EGR valve. Remove cable channels from beds of camshafts (6 on an illustration).
  2. Disconnect the electroconducting fixed on submitting fuel tubes and returnable fuel lines (7 on an illustration).
  3. Remove fuel tubes of injectors (see an illustration).
  1. Give fixture of fuel returnable tubes of the back block of cylinders and their support from a bed of camshafts and the fuel distributive highway. Take tubes aside.
  1. Remove covers of heads of cylinders.
  1. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation VMT for what combine a label on a pulley of a cranked shaft with a label on a cover of a drive of GRM.
  1. Make sure that all valves of the cylinder No. 1 are not loaded with camshaft cams.
  1. By means of measuring щупа measure klapanny gaps at first all cylinder No. 1 valves, then final valves of cylinders No. 2 and No. 3 and inlet valves of cylinders No. 5 and No. 6. Write down the measured sizes.

The arrangement of valves is specified illustrations.

  1. Turn a cranked shaft clockwise on one turn (that labels again coincided) and make sure that all valves of the cylinder No. 4 are not loaded with camshaft cams.
  2. Measure klapanny gaps, since inlet valves of cylinders No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, and then final valves No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6. Write down the measured sizes.
  3. Compare the measured sizes to requirements of Specifications.



  1. In need of adjustment of a gap any of valves remove from it a nozzle and the returnable fuel line (see an illustration).
  2. Turn a cranked shaft so that the cams corresponding to the adjustable valve, were turned up.
  3. Turn a pusher a screw-driver so that its groove was available.
  4. Unload a valve pusher by means of the special adaptation. Make sure that the adaptation does not press on an adjusting washer.
  5. Take an adjusting washer and replace it other, more suitable thickness. For calculation of thickness of an established washer add to thickness of an old washer size of a klapanny gap and subtract size of a demanded gap.

New washer establish labels down.

  1. After installation of a new adjusting plate again measure the adjusted klapanny gap.
  2. Establish acting in film components in sequence, return to an order of dismantle of components. Use new laying of nozzles and covers of heads of cylinders. It is necessary to replace acting in film submitting fuel tubes also.
  3. In summary pump over a power supply system.
