Removal and installation of assembly of a steering column

The telescopic steering column demands the accurate treatment of her, and its dismantling is not admissible.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
  1. Remove the bottom section of the dashboard from the driver and release the lever of fixing of a steering column.
  1. Remove casings of a steering column, podrulevy switches and separate their sockets (see an illustration).
  1. Remove sockets of a spiral spring with directing, separate them (see an illustration), and then remove the directing.
  1. Remove the holder of a spiral spring and podrulevy switches.
  1. Remove from a steering column a knee emphasis (11).
  1. Turn out a bolt (12) fastenings of a steering shaft to the steering mechanism and divide them, having pulled a shaft up.
  2. Turn out the bottom bolt (13) fastenings of assembly of a steering column.
  3. Liberate electroconducting from couplers and collars and take her aside.
  4. Deduce a boot via the lever of removal of fixing of a steering column that the lever could be removed together with a column.
  5. Turn out the top bolts (16) fastenings of a steering column and remove it.
  6. Installation is made upside-down. The bottom bolt of fastening at first use only for fixing of a steering column that it was possible to tighten the top bolts.
