Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM

Below the described procedure assumes that the power unit is removed from the car.

The components removed for ensuring access to a cover of a drive of GRM

1 — Shchup of level of impellent oil
2 — the Intermediate roller

3 — the Pump GUR
4 — the Water pump


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take out щуп level of impellent oil and remove an intermediate roller (2 on an illustration). Remove the pump GUR and its arm with an elevating eye (3 on an illustration).
  2. Remove the water pump and the plug with sealing rings (4 on an illustration).
  3. Remove the pallet of a case and disconnect from it a hose сапуна a case. Directing plug leave in the block of cylinders. Wipe the flowed-out oil.
  4. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see. Section Replacement of epiploons and pulley of a cranked shaft).
  1. Turn out directing pins from a cover of a drive of GRM by a carving narezaniye in them (8) (fixture (8 and 9) covers (10) drives of GRM).
  1. Turn out all bolts of fastening of a cover of a drive of GRM (9 on an illustration).
  2. Uncover, since its bottom edge, and then, moving it up-down not to damage laying of a head of cylinders.
  3. Carefully clear of the consolidation remains all interfaced surfaces and then put on them on the center the Loctite hermetic roller in the 518th thickness of 1 mm.
  4. Establish a cover of a drive of GRM, and screw bolts of its fastening, but yet do not tighten them. Establish into place directing pins of a cover.
  5. Tighten bolts of fastening of a cover of a drive of GRM with effort of 22 N • m.
  6. Check a condition of sealing rings of the water pump and if necessary replace them.

Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
